Providing much needed educational support for autistic adults curious about reducing trauma, building emotional resilience and strengthening their immune system with psilocybin mushrooms.

We invite you to image autistic adults living with decreased levels of PTSD.

Autism is the fastest-growing developmental disability in the world (CDC, 2020).

A significant proportion of autistic adults are not diagnosed until later in life, and for many, the later diagnosis has led to poor mental health outcomes. Sixty percent of autistic adults have PTSD vs 4.5% of the general public (Rumball, 2020). PTSD increases mortality risk by 47% (Nilawees et al., 2023). This difference in health is unnecessary, unavoidable, unfair, and unjust.

Autism on Shrooms (AoS) provides high quality educational resources and professional trainings on the appropriate application of psilocybin mushrooms in reducing morbidity and mortality in the BIPOC autistic population, and builds community peer support with gender non comforting autistic adults of color.

Autistic adults may navigate the world and social interactions in a different way.

“The experiences and needs of Black autistic adults are not represented in the psychedelic movement, ignoring the nuanced experiences of adults of color on the spectrum.”
